Living The Clean Label Life

How often do we turn a product over and read the label, before buying it? Clean Label Living hopes that one day all buyers will do.

This project was born out of my obsession with looking for clean ingredients on product labels. My first experience with launching a product was with the brand Deliciously Yours in 2015, when I started making a variety of nut butters out of my own home. Customers loved the use of glass bottles instead of plastic, and the absence of any preservatives, palm oil, or additives.

The need for clean products and a health conscious lifestyle developed into the brand called Clean Label Living. Our team is working towards expanding into various products like granola spreads and cakes, both of which are made without maida/refined flour. We use oats, millets, raw sugar, honey, and real vanilla extract. We also use real butter in our products unlike many who use palm oil, margarine or commercial butter substitute.

We hope that you follow along with us as we launch various products to simplify daily eating, and enjoy the taste and health benefits of each product just as much as we do!

Telling Inspiring Stories

Clean Label Living is an approach to life. It is a set of choices we make in our daily lives to make each moment happier and healthier. Along with food products, we want to share our experiences and our approach to making healthier lifestyle choices for ourselves and our families. Our blog will try its best to get you excited about clean living.

So where does our motivation come from? I have noticed that as we age, we are drawn towards natural living, cleaner eating, sustainability, and trying to live closer to the outdoors rather than inside closed city spaces. From barefoot evening walks to turning our home into a mini garden, my family has tried to make small choices that we hope will count in the long run.

Becoming environmentally conscious can’t happen overnight. We still use plastic when we buy a bottle of water or a pouch of cookies. Luckily the cookies are additive free and palm oil free, but the packaging still relies on plastic to make the cost fit varied budgets. This makes me realise that we still have quite a way to go before we can master zero waste, zero plastic, and be 100% eco conscious.

The solution is just to get started and make small changes, and hope to at least minimise the damage we are causing to our bodies and the world around us.

Inspiring Art On Daily Objects

All of us at Clean Label Living come from a career background in digital visual art. The best way we can get our love for creativity into this project, is creating art on daily objects.

This reminds and motivates us as we go through each day, that the choices we make will shape our body and the spaces around us.

These objects also celebrate the inherent human love for the green and the soil around us, and the longing we have to build a deep connection with the raw earth around us.
